a lot to talk about but it's all positive :D !!! very happy about that. in the midst of irl stuff being a nuisance (never ending it seems...) ive had some awesome stuff happen! yay! for starters: hololive! ive been getting more and more invested in hololive as time goes on and it's really cool. i am a big fan of the EN branch and a bigger fan of both advent and justice, both have my EN oshis. advent is really cool, i love fuwamoco and shiori is also cool, im very happy i follow them because i haven't had a negative moment with them. i have a LOT to say about justice tho, my goodness. one of my favorite units possibly ever. gigi!! gigi is awesome, i love her stories and how she acts, it's very very relatable and it makes me like her a lot. i don't really like talking about my personality because it's not something i particularly think about deeply but it also comes off like "guys!! look at me!! im different!" which is something i despise, but watching gigi and seeing bits of myself in her is super cool and it makes me feel better about myself and who i am, which i guess is the best thing your oshi can make you do. her views on art being super important and helpful during your bad times is also super super important to me because i feel the same exact way about art... i want to stop typing so i can go watch gigi clips now, but i wont because i love writing this blog. anyways, her views on a lot of the stuff i like is similar to mine so it's fun watching her, and she's really funny! i love her more absurd sense of humor and her "i'll do whatever i want" attitude because, as i said, something i really really relate too, and her solo song, I'll Still Be Here is amazing and very touching, it makes me very emotional. i recently learned that the song what the song was about thru clips and it makes it a lot more touching song, im listening to it rn and it's kinda hard to not start tearing up TT. i love gigi so much :( one of my favorite creators and vtubers, i hope to stay with her until the end of time, proud grem front and back. cecilia is also super awesome and i love her dynamic with gigi, it's very fun to watch them interact with eachother because of how good they're able to get along, it's like they were bounded to end up by eachother's side at some point in life, its's honestly super cool. their dynamic is so sweet and amazing. also the name autofister is really funny. raora is super sick too, i love her voice so much (tbqh all of justice have amazing voices). i really love her italian accent, it's super cute and warms my heart everytime i listen to it. erb is also super cool too! i'm not that familiar with her if im going to be real but i have very much enjoyed everything of her ive encountered. justice is awesome, their music is super good too, i can listen to Above Below on repeat on hours and still have fun as i did for the first time. i wish there was more justice merch (that's affordable at least TT) but i'm super happy there's any at all. i mostly talked about gigi but i can go on and on about how much i love her, so that's nothing new. i even have a membership on youtube... that's some real deal stuff right there. i haven't been disappointed by what i've gotten tho, so that's awesome. thinking about her makes me happy lollll. interesting. that's enough holo talk tho... let's move on
i got a switch! i was seeing a lot of people on twitter play tomodachi life and got intrigued as i used to play the first one on the 3DS very heavily and it was so, so worth it. i've been having a really fun time. my island is super cool because everyone so far is either my friends or vtubers so watching them all interact with eachother is super funny and cool. my island is super sick and i cant wait to add more people as time goes on, i have a lot of idea: matt and jay from nirvanna the band, the rest of my hololive oshis (only have 4, but want to add more) and a few more rappers. the game is super sick so far though and i'm really glad and happy i was able to get my hands on it, it's sitting next to me right now as i type this! i got the iconic red and blue switches though but since this console is nearly 10 years old and its a first batch, there's drift unfortunately, though the controller i got works perfectly fine and i like using it more as the only game i actually used the joycons for was tomodachi life. it's more precise too, especially on Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario 64 (both INCREDIBLE games, im almost finished with Odyssey and it's a near perfect game). i love this console a lot, so i'm super happy i was able to get it. very fun to play after a long stressful day at work or whenever i'm really bored. fun console. i have about a handful of games for it and they're all first party (i prefer to play 3rd party games on either my ps4 or laptop) so it's good. i'm glad i decided to treat myself to a switch because this is really fun, i finally feel like im doing something worthy of my time instead of just mindlessly procrastinate about doing things, because when i'm more i can just get up and do something else. really awesome stuff. i really love playing sm64 again as it's been a long, long time since i've done so. it should be obvious how i got my games, in that case i'll say: i need to get more n64 games on it. hmmm... what else?
i saw lucy bedroque! i bought tickets back around the same time the announcement came out and me and my friend were super super lucky as the tickets sold out like immediately. the concert was alright. the merch line was so so long though, lasted about 3-4 hours and throughout the entire show, so im glad i was at the end and was able to get 2 tees and a CD. the shirts are awesome, i got a black tour tee and the anime backstage hologram shirt, both in L and XL respectively. the shirts are large, the L shirt fits me perfectly and XL is loose on me (for reference, i'm 5,9 and wear XL normally). the show itself was pretty good, i know i said it was alright. kuru was amazing, every song was hype and had an element to move to and it was super sick to experience him live as this was my first ever exposure to him, imo, the best set of the night as it's turned me into a big kuru fanboy now, love his music to bits and pieces. also to hear a loona reference live in concert feels like a full circle moment considering i started this blog as a dweeb for this type of stuff. i wasn't too crazy about the DJ set 9lives did, though i did like a lot of the songs they played, especially the Jane Remover song, that was fire. not a big fan of them opening a pit after what feels like every single song, other than that it was rather fine, least favorite set of the night. lucy bedroque's set was also okay, i'm not sure if it was me or i'm not as tapped into lucy's discography like that anymore but nothing was clicking with me outside of unmusique which is a bummer because a lot of it sounds rly good, but i wasn't aware of what they were so i have no strong opinions about it. i think the music wasn't hitting as much, at least physically, it just sounded like i was listening to it and not being shaken or moved by it (is that the right phrasing?), which was fine. he was a great performer nonetheless, gave it his all it felt but unfortunately it just wasn't hitting for me, which is unfortunate, that's still the goat tho, all of them are. im SUPER happy with the merch tho, looks great and feels amazing to wear. i don't have time to take pictures but i will either tomorrow or later tonight, depends on how work goes.
that's all i have to say for now!! super cool stuff happening and i hope it continues! hope everyone has a great day and love for everyone.
